Francis hydro turbine consists of draft tube assembly, pipeline system, runner, back cover, front cover, water seal box, volute, water guiding mechanism, inlet elbow, expansion tube, inlet pipe device etc. Components of the turbine are designed for easy installation, disassembly, and maintenance.
Generator will be supported by 2 slide bearings, the generator include stator, rotor, thrust bearing, radial bearing, base board etc. Stator & bearings is placed on the base board which embedded in the concrete. Rotor will be supported by front/back bearings, main shaft will extend into the turbine volute with the runner fixed on it, the other end of the main shaft will attach the flywheel & slip ring.
